Natalie Pilgrim, strategic partner sales manager at HP and winner of Manager of the Year at last year’s Women in Channel awards, gives her advice for women looking to start a career in IT

Manager of the Year at last year's Women in Channel Awards, HP's strategic partner sales manager Natalie Pilgrim talks to CRN giving her advice to women aspiring for a career in the IT sector.

"Have faith in your own ability, and don't feel intimidated about a career in IT", she tells CRN.

"And find a good mentor who you trust and can help you navigate the early stages in your career, which is really of huge importance as well."

HP is sponsoring Graduate Apprentice of the Year at this year's Women in Channel Awards which takes place on 14 October.

Pilgrim says that the category particularly resonates with her because she "got the IT bug" and fell in love with the industry through being recruited while she was still at university.
