Description

Read testimonials from previous fighters below and learn more about the training programme.

Nicola Lanz Manna, TD Synnex

How was the overall experience?

"It was one hell of an experience from the fitness test, through training and the bout. I was constantly looking forward to getting on that train to get to London and train with you guys (shout out to Ryan and Charles)."

Did taking part in Fight Night make a significant impact on you?

"It did indeed! I have always been in love with combat sports but since moving out of my country I had taken a break from it. It was great to come back to a ring. Gutted I can't be part of next year's edition!!

Benjamin Bennett, Exertis

How was the overall experience?

"The overall experience was mesmerising, especially training one to one with a boxing coach in London. The fight night itself was a lot of fun as well as good comradeship before with your own team and afterwards with the opponent."

Did taking part in Fight Night make a significant impact on you?

"If anything, it has given me a good foundation to continue learning the skill of boxing. I did stop for a few months but only for changing up my fitness routine. I have since lost 6kg. I will go back into training locally soon and might do a fight or two."

Simon Williams, Ice and a Slice

What did you think of the 12-week training?

"Having a deadline drives anyone and it was amazing the results that can be achieved in just 12 weeks. At 40 your body doesn't work like it used to, but it still works better than it will at 50 so it was amazing to push it to its limit and see what was possible."

What challenges have you undertaken since Fight Night 2023?

"I have continued to box and kick-box regularly, competing and grading this year (and next) amongst other various charity challenges including a very questionable Mo as I type this and tough mudder next year. I do however want to morally avenge my very questionable loss 6 months ago by training and coaching another future star that has applied to fight this year - Emily Ball from Softcat."

Ryan Wells, Cisillion

How was the overall experience?

"A roller coaster of emotions… from wanting to pullout 30 mins before, to elation after getting the stoppage."

What challenges have you undertaken since Fight Night 2023?

"I am still boxing (potentially could fight again next April) I am also on a personal training plan, whilst still selling IT Services & products."
