Stock watch- Lycos

Lycos, the internet search engine company, posted results for the quarter ended 31 October. Sales were $9.3 million, up 20 per cent on the previous quarter, a 154 per cent increase on the same period last year. The results caused shares to rise to 34 on Nasdaq at the close of play on 20 November.
