What do you love most about the IT industry? Speed. It's a dynamic industry. You have to keep changing. You always have to operate six months in advance of where you are.
Which company do you most admire or respect in the IT business? Broadline distributors. I admire the efficiency of business they've managed to create.
What is the biggest technology trend you anticipate in the next 12 months? The commoditisation of audiovisual hardware.
What is the one thing working in the technology industry has taught you? Never believe in your own PR.
Where do you think the channel will be in five years time? There will be two ends to it: purely volume at one end and high value-add service at the other.
How do you unwind or spend your spare time? Drinking red wine and thinking about how to survive the next 12 months.
