Deals will be processed more quickly with SELECT Connect platform, vendor claims
Fujitsu says a new platform for its reseller partners, that is built on its own CRM system, will make them more competitive on customer bids.
The vendor today unveiled Fujitsu SELECT Connect, a platform enabling "faster, easier and more transparent interaction" for Fujitsu SELECT Expert and SELECT Circle partners.
Partners can use it to register deals directly on the CRM platform used by Fujitsu's own sales staff, as well as track the status of registered deals and give feedback on the status of approved deals, Fujitsu said.
The move will mean partner bids are more "competitive", according to Fujitsu, which added that deals will now also be processed more quickly.
The Japanese vendor said it currently generates 70 per cent of global product and solution sales through channel partners.
Veerle Limbos, vice president, Global Channel Business at Fujitsu, said: "This major investment reflects an important first step to digitalise the SELECT Partner programme, and in doing so create an innovative and connected landscape of tools and benefits that drive channel partner business growth while significantly reducing their cost of sales."
