Channel Awards 2016 - deadline approaching
With continuing gloom and doom over Brexit, now more than ever we need to focus on all the good that this industry achieves
There are just two weeks until the deadline for entering the 2016 CRN Channel Awards expires - this is Friday 15 July for anyone wondering.
With all the uncertainty over the Brexit vote, now more than ever we need to pull together as an industry and focus on the positives.
And what is more positive than celebrating success and sharing that success with a room full of your peers?
The awards themselves are due to take place at the Battersea Events Arena on 17 November, and we are working hard to make it a night to remember.
We have 25 categories to choose from, five of them brand new - which are aimed at celebrating innovation and the rising stars of our great industry.
The channel is filled with innovation, please do not miss out on your chance to share your achievements and gain recognition for them.
For vendors, there are two new categories: the 'Vendor Innovation Award' and 'Emerging Vendor of the Year'. For distributors we have the ‘Distribution Innovation Award' and the ‘Emerging Technology Distributor of the Year', and finally for VARs/MSPs/Integrators we have launched the ‘Rising star Award' - aimed at giving the start-ups and smaller players a chance to shine.
This year we have created an Awards Hub to make the entry process as simple as possible - please please read this - there is everything you need to know in one place, and also a tongue-in-cheek Q&A which answers all the questions we are asked each year, and more.
Remember, these awards cover the UK market only - this is not something that has changed since Brexit, it has always been the case.
The entries will go through a two-tier judging process, and the judges are looking for personality, facts, figures, testimonials and real examples of UK success - every award has a detailed entry criteria - if you follow these, it will help you write a successful entry.
Also read the Ts&Cs before entering - there is ONE ENTRY per category ONLY, and anyone shortlisted is effectively committing to attending the event itself.
Good luck and the judges are waiting for your entries!
