Smart Technologies renews Steljes contract
Interactive whiteboard vendor extends exclusivity agreement with its sole UK distributor
Audiovisual distributor Steljes has today announced that it has renewed its exclusivity agreement with its biggest vendor, Smart Technologies, for a further five years.
Ian Goodhind, chief operating officer at Steljes, said: “This announcement is testament to the strength of our relationship with Smart Technologies. We have been distributing Smart Board interactive whiteboards since they first came to the UK in 1997 and have steadily grown the UK market share year on year, carving out their position as the leading interactive whiteboard brand.”
Nancy Knowlton, Smart Technologies' chief executive, added: “Smart has enjoyed a close and collaborative relationship with Steljes for more than 10 years. The extension of this relationship allows us to strengthen our position as a leading provider of IT products and group collaboration tools, while maintaining a long-term focus of satisfying customer needs.”
On their stand at the this year's British Education Training Technology show, which commences tomorrow, Steljes and Smart will be demonstrating a range of new products to be launched this year. These include the latest version of Smart's IWB software - Notebook 10; the Smart Learning Marketplace; the second generation of Smart's Senteo interactive voting system, and the vendor's Smart Wall technology which enables any surface to become interactive.
