Logicalis posts strong end of year financials
VAR sees turnover increase by 16 per cent
VAR Logicalis has posted strong end of year results after it chalked up $545.6m in turnover for the year ending February 2006.
$105.3m was formed from acquisitions made during the year and this compares to turnover of $340.9m from continuing operations in 2005. Excluding the impact of acquisitions, turnover increased by 16 per cent year on year.
Jens Montanana, chief executive of Datatec, which own Logicalis, said: "The Logicalis business has overall performed strongly. Our efforts have also been recognised by our vendor partners with Logicalis winning seven awards from Cisco and IBM in the past year.
“The acquisitions we have made have extended our product and service offering considerably. We are likely to continue to seek acquisitions where it is strategically relevant,” added Montanana.
Datatec also posted an 18 per cent turnover increase to $2.98bn, from $2.52bn in 2005.
