Vendor launches mobile app to keep partners up-to-date with product and sales information

Alcatel-Lucent has launched a mobile sales tool to help its channel partners keep abreast of the comms vendor's latest product news and sales information.
The My Dynamic Link tool can be accessed on most mobile phones and provides partners with access to sales tips, differentiator guides and product overviews.
Its services are free to use and available to download from the vendor’s business partner portal.
Manish Sablok, Northern Europe marketing director of Alcatel-Lucent, said the tool is the first of its kind in the channel and would help bring the firm closer to its partners.
"This type of mobile sales resource is unrivalled in our industry, and we have been delighted with the initial response from our partner base," he said.
“We would strongly encourage all our business partners to download this free resource in order to give them a competitive advantage going into new sales pitches.”
Richard Reid, strategic development director of Alcatel-Lucent Premium business partner Amillan, said the application would help make it easier for partners to keep their customers informed.
“With developments in Alcatel-Lucent technology and applications occurring at such a rapid pace, it can be a challenge for a field-sales team to keep pace,” he added.
