Bull joins ACS herd

VAR adds to growing furniture business with Bull acquisition

Deal sealed: acs has added to its growing furniture business with Bull acquisition

VAR ACS has continued along its aggressive expansion path by acquiring Milton Keynes-based Bull Office Furniture for an undisclosed sum.

The Northampton-based VAR, which counts HP and Microsoft among its vendor partners, bought Bull to help strengthen its growing office furniture division.

This latest acquisition comes six months after ACS bought IT service firm WYSIWYG-IT, also based in Milton Keynes. ACS revealed it will remodel the Bull offices to include a state-of-the-art showroom and meeting facility, as well as being the permanent base for its Milton Keynes sales, consultancy and marketing staff.

John Harley, joint managing director of ACS, said: “Bull is a well-respected, long-standing and professional company with strong values that reflect our own. “This acquisition will help us build on our successes in Milton Keynes.”

Mike Jarrard, representative from Bull, said: “We have worked hard for the past 20 years to build a client base that we have been proud to maintain. Joining forces with ACS will enable us to continue to supply our customers with the level of care and commitment that has always been our priority, and we are extremely excited about the future avenues and opportunities the alliance will bring to us as we move forward as a team.”

ACS recently celebrated its best six months trading in its history and hinted that it would not rule out further acquisitions in the near future.
