MYOB shells out for Dosh

Accounting software vendor strengthens UK presence with latest acquisition

Financial software vendor MYOB has added to its acquisition tally by snapping up accounting software supplier Dosh.

The vendor claims the acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, complements MYOB’s growth strategy in the UK and strengthens MYOB’s customer base, product lines and distribution channels.

As a result of the acquisition, MYOB intends to promote Dosh’s Payroll for Windows, a standalone product that supplements MYOB’s core business management product range. MYOB also gains Dosh’s business planning software and its cashbook.

Richard Allen, managing director of MYOB UK said: “The purchase of Dosh is an important step for MYOB in the UK adding to our growing base of small business customers.

“This combined with our position as a leading provider of solutions for professional accounting firms, ensures MYOB has a solid foundation for delivering enhanced services to British businesses.”
