Vendor launches channel programme rewarding sales staff for their knowledge of D-Link and networking sector
Networking vendor D-Link is rewarding its channel with prizes for learning about both D-Link and the networking market as a whole.
Unveiling its Big Reward Zone, the vendor intends to target its partners’ sales staff to help them absorb more information in an entertaining way.
Users of the Big Reward Zone can partake in learning programmes, mini games, daily trivia and e-learning. Every exercise successfully completed gains entry into the Big Prize Draw with a chance to win the Big Prize Fund. The fund increases with every D-Link product sold.
Andrew Mulholland, marketing manager at D-Link, said: “The channel has an issue with retaining good people and ensuring that technical knowledge is maintained at a high level. So we’ve developed a programme that doesn’t simply incentivise sales performance; it hinges around knowledge.
“The Big Reward Zone is all about learning a little, often. It’s about helping staff retain more valuable information and stay in tune with the rapidly changing networking industry. But above all we want to make learning fun and give everyone a chance of success, not just the consistently top performing sales people.”
Online scratchcards are also up for grabs with 1,000s of prizes available each quarter.
