Tatham to leave Bell Micro

Former CRN channel personality of the year, and commercial director of Bell set to leave the company next month

Larger than life channel personality Alex Tatham is leaving Bell Micro after 10 years.

Tatham, whose roles have included commercial director and head of global software, is to leave the firm at the end of August. It is not yet known whether he has another job within the channel.

A former RSA Security executive, Jan Lawford, is to take up the position of European commercial director, in September. Her responsiblities will include hard disc drives, components and peripherals, software, systems and marketing.

Graeme Watt, European president of Bell Micro, said: "We will miss Alex's presence and enthusiasm and energy that went into everything he got involved with. We wish him all the very best in his next role."
