CipherTrust's channel keeps on growing

Security vendor swells its reseller ranks as it launches new products

Security vendor CipherTrust has already doubled its UK channel once this year and is on track to double it again by the end of October.

Last week the firm launched three new products and services: the IronMail Gateway 6.0, IronMail Edge and its TrustedSource Portal, which stores data on over 10 billion emails that contain spam, viruses or worms.

Olly Carter, UK channel manager at CipherTrust, said: “We are fully on track to have 25 pro-active resellers on board by October.

Our recruitment drive is going very well.” He said the firm’s most recent signing was VAR Real Solutions, but there are a number of other signings “in the pipeline”.

Carter added that the firm is also due to launch its ‘campaign in a box’ strategy to help partners that specialise in vertical markets, such as local government, education and finance, win more business.

“We are still looking for more pro-active resellers because we have new products coming out all the time,” Carter said.

Ed Blake, head of e-security at VAR Real Solutions, said: “We looked at four vendors, but decided that CipherTrust’s products were the most intuitive. Their technical support and management graphic user interface were also far easier to use.”
