Xsigo launches UK push for VARs
I/O virtualisation vendor launches UK VAR hunt
On the hunt: Xsigo is looking for VARs to join its six-strong partner community
I/O virtualisation vendor Xsigo is on the hunt for partners to drive sales of its product portfolio in the UK.
The vendor expanded its product line-up earlier this month with an updated version of its server connectivity tool I/O Director.
It is claimed the product’s connectivity speed of 40Gbit/s makes it the fastest of its type available. It is also compatible with most brands of server on the market.
Lloyd Carney, chief executive of Xsigo, said the product makes the management of multiple servers easier and quicker for IT departments.
“IT managers need tools that eliminate operational constraints and let them easily manage large numbers of servers,” he said. “I/O Director helps by eliminating I/O bottlenecks to provide a greater end user experience.”
In support of the product’s rollout, the vendor is looking to add to its six-strong UK partner base by recruiting VARs with server, storage and virtualisation experience.
Jon Toor, vice president of marketing at Xsigo, said VARs that get on board with the firm will be rewarded with MDF, sales support and technical training.
“Having this product in their portfolio enables resellers to increase the size of their footprint in customers’ server environments and add more value to the virtualisation projects they are undertaking with them,” he said.
