Riverbed joins NetApp partner programme

Deal will allow Riverbed partners to offer support for NetApp enterprise storage and data protection technology

Riverbed has joined Network Appliance’s (NetApp) partner programme. This will enable Riverbed’s partners to offer end-user support for NetApp enterprise storage and data protection technology as part of their portfolio.

Eric Wolford, senior vice-president of business development at Riverbed, said: “Partners that are concerned about disaster recovery and regulatory compliance have seen tremendous value working with Riverbed and NetApp to replicate files over the WAN.”

Patrick Rogers, vice-president of products and alliances at NetApp, said: “Riverbed’s membership means that its customers can benefit from improved disaster recovery and remote replication in NetApp enterprise storage environments.”

In July, NetApp partnered with CommVault to develop an end-to-end backup offering (CRN, 31 July).
