True Colours Distribution signs partnership with Inspiration Matters
AV distributor claims vendor's content will complement its existing products
Audiovisual distributor True Colours Distribution has signed a partnership with digital signage vendor Inspiration Matters.
Iain Campbell, sales and marketing director at True Colours, which is part of Midwich, said: “The addition of Inspiration Matters to our digital-signage portfolio is very welcome. The vendor’s content creation-based system will complement the two existing signage products that we offer.”
The appointment of True Colours is UK-based Inspiration Matters’ first foray into the distribution channel.
Damon Crowhurst, sales director at Inspiration Matters, told CRN: “Historically, we have dealt with resellers directly, but the opportunity to distribute our Inspired Signage solution through the traditional trade model is a challenge that we have considered for some time.
“However, delivering quality digital signage solutions is not a simple transaction because there are technical issues concerning deployment and implementation. It was therefore important that we selected the correct distribution partner.”
Crowhurst said that what impressed Inspiration Matters about True Colours was its understanding of the digital signage market and its technical expertise. He added that Inspiration Matters has put together a few bundles that will make it easier for True Colours’ resellers to sell and deploy digital signage.
True Colours has been involved in digital signage for four years and is looking to train its resellers to offer a complete digital-signage solution.
“Through our relationship with Midwich, we can now offer the displays and connectivity, allowing us to provide resellers with a complete digital-signage solution,” Campbell said. “We want to work with resellers that want to grow in the digital-signage space. Many are used to selling the displays and the connectivity, but they need to be a bit smarter and also sell the content scheduling and content-creation systems.”
