Nebulas Virtualise gets a new head

Mike Young takes charge of division to lead its ambitious expansion plans

VAR Nebulas Solutions Group has added weight to its virtualisation arm - Nebulas Virtualise – by appoint a new division head.

Mike Young has taken on the role of head of Nebulas Virtualise with the remit of pursuing the firm’s ambitious expansion plans and leading the division’s technical team. Before Nebulas Virtualise, Young worked at System Group Integration (SGI) where he was responsible for implementing large scale VMware and Microsoft solutions.

Young said: ““Virtualisation offers so many advantages in terms of cost, power and space savings that customers are keen to understand how they can benefit from it. By partnering with the leading vendors, we now have the technology to ensure that customers can take full advantage of all aspects of the technology. I’m excited about the opportunities at Nebulas Virtualise and am looking forward to a busy year ahead”.

Part of the Nebulas Solutions Group, Nebulas Virtualise operates in close collaboration with its sister companies, Nebulas Security, the IT security specialist and Nebulas Xcelerate, which provide WAN optimisation solutions.

Nick Garlick, managing director of Nebulas Solutions Group, is feeling bullish for the year ahead.
