Read on to find out more.
Ferrari racing action
Global Beach competes not only in the fast-paced world of multimedia but also on track in the action-packed arena of Ferrari motor racing.
Competing in its debut season, the team has already proved to be the fastest F355 in the Goodyear Maranello Ferrari Challenge. Backed by a high-profile stable of IT sponsors including Hewlett Packard and Wyse Technologies, the team has had an exciting passage through to 5th position in the mixed series championships, as recorded on the team's Website - www.globalbeach.com/f355.
Racing provides the ideal business-to-business platform for both agency and sponsors and the team now plans an exciting expansion of its racing ambitions next season, extending its portfolio of sponsors to take on the European F355 challenge, competing on the world's premier circuits.
One of the team's distinctive black F355 Ferraris will be taking to the tracks for a showcase session at Donington on 26 August allowing PC Dealer readers the exclusive chance to win one of four passenger rides in the team car with racing driver and Global Beach CEO Clive Jackson.
Everyone's a winner - desktop racing for all
Even if you're not lucky enough to win the real racing experience, you can still fulfil your aspirations to be a Ferrari racing driver thanks to HP JetSpeed - a network racing challenge for office PC users featuring the team's black F355.
Available free from www.hp.com/go/racing, HP JetSpeed was designed as high-speed 'infotainment' for small businesses, to demonstrate the benefits of efficient network sharing with HP JetDirect print servers. Players can take on network colleagues in racing slot cars around a digital office, but must 'learn to earn' a series of upgrade cars by picking up tips about trackside IT equipment. Naturally, only top racers can qualify to win themselves the black, on-screen Ferrari!
