AnyDoc to strengthen UK partner base

Kofax competitor to increase UK partner involvement

AnyDoc's products eliminate the need to manually enter data from paper documents

Data capture vendor AnyDoc software plans to take advantage of the growing opportunities created by the recession, by doubling its UK partner base over the coming year.

The US-based firm has 60 partners globally, but aims to increase its five-strong UK partner base to 10, through recruiting industry specific VARs.

AnyDoc’s European headquarters are in Switzerland.

As a competitor of the likes of Kofax, the privately owned firm’s products eliminate the need to manually enter data from paper documents, such as forms and invoices.

Daniel Izsak, general manager of AnyDoc EMEA, said: “We have been in the UK for 10 years, but the process automation market is growing and the recession is what kicked it off. We would like to take advantage of those opportunities.

“We would like to recruit across areas such as auto capture, business workflow, healthcare environments and healthcare insurance claims. Partners certified in SAP or Oracle and Microsoft’s Visio would be well suited for image processing.”

AnyDoc has 130 employees globally, three of which are based in the UK.

Izsak said the firm does not have plans to grow its headcount until the company is ready to expand. “We take on staff when we need, but do not plan to become as big as we can by having to compete with our partners," he said.

“We will not sell directly in order to pay for our own infrastructure. Our software is not plug and play; it needs to be part of a solution and sold through a partner.”
