Leisuresoft applies for court protection

Leisuresoft is in the hands of the administrators to protect it from its creditors including Sega which is owed more than #1 million.

Poor cashflow, poor sales and pressure from its creditors prompted the Leisuresoft directors to apply for High Court protection on Monday 18 March. The company intends to restructure and trade its way out of trouble.

Twelve staff have already been laid off by the court appointed administrators, accountancy firm Coopers & Lybrand. Joint administrator Bob Bailey said:
