DSales reports 12 per cent revenue rise

Single-brand MFP distributor achieves record sales through recession

Develop is a Germany-based range of printers for office and production environments

Distributor Developer Sales (DSales) sold about £7 million worth of its Develop range of multifunction devices (MFDs) in the UK this year, according to a statement released by the four-year-old firm.

Jonathan Whitworth, managing director of DSales, said the figures were up 12 per cent on its 2009 results, despite adverse trading conditions in the UK recession.

Develop is expanding its range of professional production systems for commercial printing”, he said. “Our channel partners need training and showroom facilities to demonstrate these large systems.”

Whitworth said the West Yorkshire-based Develop distributor was on the hunt for new staff. It is expanding its Ripponden headquarters and also has been working to open a Milton Keynes showroom to support 120 resellers.

“With the economic recovery in full swing our monthly sales are climbing, so the next year is going to be terrific for us,” he added.
