Nomai introduces portable drive

Nomai has launched the 540 removable disk drive. It is a portable drive designed for multimedia and digital data storage, and is highly compact, with each unit slightly larger than a standard floppy diskette. The drive provides downward compatibility with SyQuest 270Mb cartridges. With a typical data access time of 10.9ms, and a data write transfer rate of 3.14Mb/s, Nomai claims that the unit's performance is almost up to a fixed hard drive.
