Persona man quits after three months

Persona was forced to find a quick replacement Cisco sales manager after the sudden departure of the incumbent holder Neil Henderson, three months after his move from Frontline.

The distributor?s acting MD, Lynette Summerfield, said Henderson?s departure was amicable, but conceded he had found the job pressurised. A source claimed he left immediately after a boardroom meeting with Persona?s Cisco sales director Charlie Stewart on 28 April and that the rest of the team was told he was suffering from stress at home.

Commenting on his departure, Stewart said: ?He had certain commitments outside of work that prevented him from giving it his all.?

Summerfield denied that Cisco sales had almost halved since Henderson?s arrival at Persona. Stewart admitted that ?sales had dropped because of competitive pricing and market demands but I can?t apportion it to Neil. We have highs and lows in this market.? Summerfield added that the team had grown from five to eight people and it was going to continue growing the business.

On the day of Henderson?s departure, Persona hired Andy Holland, a Cisco specialist from distributor Azlan. Henderson?s place was filled by Phil Green, Persona?s business development sales manager, last week.
