Sun loses UK managing director

Trudy Norris-Grey in shock departure after two years at the helm

Sun has parted company with its UK president and managing director Trudy Norris-Grey today, CRN has learnt.

Grey joined Sun July 2005, having left her previous position as vice-president of aliiances and channels UK at Oracle (CRN, 14 February 2005).

In a statement to CRN, Sun said: "Trudy Norris-Grey, President and Managing Director, Sun Microsystems UK and Ireland has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

"We are grateful for the contribution Trudy has made to the business over recent
years. A new head of the UK and Ireland will be announced shortly."
