Research house reveals opportunities for channel players
Infiniti Research has highlighted fraud prevention and mobile payment technology as two hotspots for resellers to sink their teeth into for the tail-end of 2007.
The research house’s TechNavio platform gives channel sales and marketing staff all the data they need on market size, customers, vendors and competitors in one place.
As part of the resource, Infiniti has outlined 200 hotspots across 20 industry groups. In the manufacturing sector, it listed wireless and RFID as further hot buttons.
Shitikantha Chand, head of platform development for TechNavio, said: “This will save time for sales and planning teams as everything is on a single web-based platform.”
Chand claimed TechNavio would offer VARs 40 times the return on investment than trawling through online search engines for comparable information.
