Micro-P puts VARs in the frame with photo offer

Distributor's own-brand consumer arm launches digital photo frames with free family portrait deal

Linx, the own-brand consumer arm of distributor Micro Peripherals (Micro-P), is hoping a free family portrait being offered with its new range of digital photo frames will give resellers’ business a shot in the arm.

The Linx Memoire range of high definition frames comes in 7", 8" and 10.2" sizes and prices start from under £50. Each frame also comes with a voucher offering a free family portrait which Linx hopes will give VARs an attractive incentive to offer customers.

According to research by GfK, the UK digital photo frame market grew 75 per cent in the first half of 2008.

The Memoire range has a variety of slideshow modes and users can also customise the frame using Linx Skins. All frames also come with a 4 in 1 card reader. The two larger models also have two built-in speakers, an integrated calendar and clock and the option of powering through the built-in battery or an AC cable.
