Wylie continues acquisition spree

Sage founder snaps up Nordic Data

Sage founder Graham Wylie continued to blaze the acquisition trail with his reseller Technology Services Group (TSG) last week, after he snapped up Edinburgh-based IT services firm Nordic Data for an undisclosed sum.

TSG was set up in 2003 with the swift acquisitions of Joynson Limited in Newcastle and CPA Systems in Teesside. In March this year the group added to its north-west presence by acquiring Manchester-based Orlando IT.

Graham Wylie said in a statement: "We are delighted that Nordic Data, one of the largest Sage resellers in Scotland, is now part of TSG.

"Nordic is a well-run business with highly skilled people, which is why their service standards are extremely high."

Wylie added that he plans to make TSG the "IT supplier of choice" in the Edinburgh region and has more plans to expand the business in the near future.

Norman Weibye, managing director of Nordic Data, added: "We recognised some time ago that the IT services sector was ready for consolidation and we are delighted that Graham Wylie has chosen our business as the first part of TSG's expansion into Scotland."
