Online service to help resellers improve their accessory attachment rates

Choosing the right mount or bracket for displays and other AV products can take time

Midwich has augmented its online dealer assistance with a search feature that matches up mounts with specific TVs, displays, and projectors.

The mount-finder is called Whichmounts. Resellers enter the product for which they need a mount, its manufacturer and postcode, then filter the results by price, brand, availability, or special offer.

Kane Barker, product manager for brackets and mounts at Midwich, said: “We have officially launched Whichmounts to help resellers improve their attachment rates.”

Lee Baker, business manager at Midwich, said projector lamps and mounts offered high margins for resellers.

“So we wanted to make it as easy as possible for our customers to locate these products and take advantage of the enormous profit opportunity in attachment sales,” Baker said.

“We are looking for a select number of reseller partners to host the mountfinder application on their website, as we think it will be equally useful for end users.”
