Stone Computers merges with Compusys
VARs join forces in strategic move to strengthen portfolios and broaden UK reach
Consolidation in the reseller channel has continued with the merger of VARs Stone Computers and Compusys.
The move creates a company with a combined turnover of £100m, with strengths in public sector areas such as further education, emergency services local councils and schools and also high performance computing.
However the new company has no plans to get rid of either the Stone Computers or Compusys brand names.
James Bird, founder of Stone Computers said: “Our philosophy is to constantly evolve our business proposition.
“The move to combine the strengths of Stone and Compusys, means that our customer base can rest assured that their operations will remain in the best possible hands, now and in the future.”
