Mitac signs duo to push corporate kit
Telford-based PC vendor Mitac has signed distributors Micro Peripherals and XMA to push its notebook sales in the corporate market.
Both distributors said sales support and customer service were major concerns for corporates but they were confident of Mitac's ability to deliver service.
Mark Kahr, marketing manager of Micro Peripherals, said: 'Mitac's notebook systems are extremely popular with corporate dealers and retailers.'
XMA, based in Nottingham, supplies hardware and consumables to Vars, dealers and systems integrators. It said there is demand in the corporate market for Mitac notebooks. XMA product manager John Blankley said: 'In the corporate market in particular, buyers are looking for good performance, good looks and good value.'
Glenn Taylor, marketing manager of Mitac Europe, has confirmed the company's commitment to working closer with its channel partners. 'We believe this group of distributors will offer resellers choice, allowing them to exploit the growing demand for our systems in SME and corporate organisations all over the UK,' he said.
Micro Peripherals and XMA already distribute Mitac PCs and monitors.
