Anix wins service deal

Anix announces a partnership with Wyevale Garden Centre.

VAR Anix has won a three-year £2m managed service deal with Wyevale Garden Centre.

The IBM and NetApp partner will provide a tier-4 datacentre in London for hosting a range of Wyevale’s back office applications. It will also monitor and manage the firm’s IBM servers.

Robert Arrowsmith, chief financial officer of Xploite, Anix’s parent company, said: “We have seen a slowdown in hardware sales, so we are pushing towards managed services deals.”

Since its acquisition of Manchester-based Red Squared, Anix can offer datacentre space in London, Bristol and Manchester.
