Matrix signs partnership deal with Lancope

VAR signs first partnership deal since it was acquired by Calyx Group

Virtual Network Operator (VNO) Matrix Communications has inked a partnership agreement with network behaviour analysis (NBA) provider Lancope.

Matrix, a wholly owned subsidiary of VAR Calyx Group, will use Lancope's StealthWatch product to gives IT managers full visibility of network activity as StealthWatch detects, contains and prevents any abnormal activity in the LAN, securing the corporate network against Trojans, worms, viruses and any unknown threats, according to Lancope.

Andy Mills, sales director of Matrix, said: "We are the first to introduce the StealthWatch System to the UK, having following and closely scrutinised the technology’s development for some time. Securing the LAN has become a crucial part of the agenda to an increasing number of organisations and we found Lancope right at the forefront of this technology.
