Aveksa looks to make bigger mark

Access governance vendor scours UK for specialists partners

Access governance software start-up Aveksa is hunting for resellers to expand its European footprint, after bagging $10m (£6.6m) in Series C funding.

Founded in 2004, Aveksa has recruited five European VARs - including UK outfit Brookcourt Solutions - since it opened an EMEA office last June. But it currently relies on an OEM relationship with software vendor Novell as its main channel to market.

Brian Cleary, vice president of marketing, claimed Aveksa’s niche of role management is the fastest-growing component of the identity and access management market.

“We are very focused on acquiring market share in the UK,” he said.

“Our ideal reseller would work in the identity and access management space and have domain knowledge in implementation of user provisioning technology.”
