CA security vice president is latest exec to leave software vendor

CA has revealed that Simon Perry, EMEA vice president security strategy, is leaving the company after 11 years.

Perry is returning back to his home country of Australia with his family where he is planning to launch a new career as an independent advisor and industry commentator.

No announcement on a replacement has yet been made.

In a statement, CA said: "Simon has made an immense contribution to CA's security business over the past decade. We wish him every success with is future plans and thank him for his dedication to CA over the past eleven years."

In recent months the vendor has seen a number of management changes.

It lost its UK channel head - Terry O'Loughlin - last summer (CRN online, 7 May), and her replacement, former Dell executive Mike Feltwell also left last year (CRN Online, 6 November). Mark Bridger, vice president and regional manager UK and Ireland also parted company with CA at the same time.
