Security spending predicted to grow over the next 12 months
Security spending is set to rocket in 2007, market watcher Forrester Research has claimed.
According to its Security is the Top IT Priority for European Businesses report, 56 per cent of IT decision makers in European enterprises named upgrading their security environment as a top priority for 2007.
The analyst also predicted that network security technology spending would remain buoyant.
Bill Nagel, the report author, said: “Nearly 80 per cent of those firms that are already using security software plan to upgrade or add to that software this year.”
