Mirus IT joins Northampton Saints' team

IT services specialist selected as official technology partner for rugby club

Service firm Mirus IT has scored a try with Northampton Saints Rugby Club after being selected as its official technology partner.

As a result of the four-season deal, the Milton Keynes-based firm will be responsible for managing all the IT systems at the Saints’ Franklins Gardens ground, which not only caters for rugby, but hosts a number of corporate events and exhibitions throughout the year.

Technology also plays an integral role in the players’ training equipment, and training aids such as interactive white boards enable coaching staff to share team strategies and tactics.

Allan Robson, chief executive of The Saints, said: “We have ambitions to become one of the best clubs in England and in Europe. But to be the best we need to have the best support.

“The focus that Mirus IT puts on service in my opinion is second to none, and we look forward to having them as our technology partner for the next four seasons.”

Paul Tomlinson, managing director of Mirus IT Solutions, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be the official technology partner to the Saints. We are committed to providing outstanding levels of service and this is recognition of our ability to deliver.”

“While Mirus IT Solutions won’t make the first XV, it can definitely be considered as a great team player and we will ensure the Saints have continued success.”
