Voters to show their true form

Voting has started for the third annual 1996 Channel Group Awards, to determine the industry's best distributors, dealers, vendors and products.

The ceremony will take place at a gala dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on 26 November, complete with a mystery celebrity presenter. Voting forms are being inserted in PC Dealer and its sister magazines Computer Retail News and Var World. Ballot papers will be accepted until 11 October.

There are 16 awards to be won ranging from PC Dealer Business Distributor of the Year, Var of the Year, Independent Retailer of the Year, Network Distributor of the Year, Value-added Distributor of the Year, Best Hardware Product of the Year, Best Software Product of the Year and Retail Leisure Product of the Year.

Voters will be entered into a prize draw, from which two winners will receive a free ticket for the awards dinner. A table for 10 costs u1,050 and individual places are u110. For information contact Susie Campsie on 0171 316 9556.
