Evault to build its UK channel

Increased demand for its products puts vendor on the look-out for more partners

Online backup and recovery vendor Evault plans to recruit more UK channel partners after witnessing increased demand in the region.

The vendor will look to recruit up to two additional partners over the next six months. Evault last week signed VAR agreements with SSI, Tiver and Genisys.

William da Cunha, vice-president of international business development at Evault, said: “The success we have seen to date has allowed us to bring forward a planned expansion of our UK channel network.”

Evault claimed that the increased demand, together with a long-term internal plan to establish a market presence in other vertical sectors, means it is necessary for the vendor to sign experienced IT resellers and system integrators that have the ability to take its technology into new UK markets.
