Microsoft has gained more than $8 million in damages after it won an illegal software piracy case against Taiwanese company Unitron.The federal court found Unitron guilty of illegally making and distributing tens of thousands of copies of MS-Dos and Windows. Unitron was a former Microsoft licensee.
