Comms-care strikes Gold

Support firm secures Gold partner status from Cisco

Richard Eglon: Gold partner status will help us win customers

Channel support services firm Comms-care has bagged Cisco Gold partner status two weeks after achieving the Silver accreditation.

Marketing manager Richard Eglon said the firm had needed to recruit further engineers and provide 30 positive comments from customers to pass the Gold audit. Comms-care hopes the accreditation will help it secure more contracts involving over 1,000 users across multiple sites.

“Customers look for accreditations, and Gold partner status will get us over the first hurdle,” said Eglon. “This is part of our progression to becoming the UK and Ireland’s number one support services firm.”

Peter Titmus, managing director of Cisco Silver partner Networks First, said: “We could probably get Gold, but have avoided it. A lot of our customers are Gold partners and we aim to make sure they do not feel threatened by what we do.”4
