Dell builds on Hammer relationship
Storage distributor's remit widened to include Dell's entire server range
Ward: Resellers looking to source branded servers or high-end storage and blade server solutions can now reap the benefits of selling Dell products backed by Hammer
Dell has appointed Hammerto supply its entire server range.
Initially an EqualLogic partner before Dell acquired the SAN vendor in November 2007, Hammer continued to provide Dell/EqualLogic storage solutions at the time of the merger.
Building on its Dell relationship as an Authorised Distributor Partner, which covered blade servers and storage from January 2009, Hammer has from today been given access to the vendor’s whole server portfolio.
Paul Matravers, sales director for storage products at Hammer said: “We have already seen huge interest in the Dell server range since adding it to our current server portfolio of Intel servers and components.”
“We look forward to delivering Dell’s products further into the reseller community, and one of our objectives is to significantly reduce the lead time on Dell servers.”
James Ward, managing director of Hammer, said: “Resellers looking to source branded servers or high-end storage and blade server solutions can now reap the benefits of selling Dell products backed by Hammer's steadfast structure and support.”
