London-based reseller Data Integration has restructured into four divisions in an attempt to achieve at least 50 per cent growth this year.

Data Integration Group now consists of data integration, voice integration, internet security and managed services divisions.

Simon Crumplin, managing director of Data Integration, said the new structure presents a better picture of what is on offer, and focuses the company's sales staff more effectively. Data Integration's managed services division uses the Network i infrastructure.

"Everybody is talking about the need to offer managed services, but 90 per cent of resellers aren't doing anything about it. We've been developing our managed services business over the past four months and the customer response has been positive," Crumplin said.

Crumplin said the long-term plan is to roll customer premise networks into the service and charge for everything on a monthly basis. This model helps build stronger long-term relationships with customers, he said. Data Integration turned over £4m last year and expects to surpass £6m this year. The intention is to greatly increase the proportion of revenue that comes from residual service contracts, currently at 24 per cent, said Crumplin. Voice Integration will mainly concentrate on converged WANs, using partners to provide computer telephony technology. The Internet Security division will target emerging service providers with managed security, said Crumplin.
