Revised Guide is Well Timed
Time Computer Systems? user guide and video, which come free with all PC purchases, have been updated to be more user friendly.
The video has been modified following responses to Time?s customer service questionnaire. It is more visually stimulating than the original, having more Maxi graphics, a new presenter, and interesting on-location shots. It has been split into two sections: technical and non-technical. The video will be sent out to existing customers from next week.
The revised guide, which is easier to read thanks to clearer screen representations, is already being distributed with all PCs bought.
The guide is broken down into three colour-coded sections: setting up the machine, installing peripherals and software, and troubleshooting and customer support.
Both the guide and the video contain new information about the latest technology offered by Time, such as MMX, IBM P200+ processors, and the inclusion of voice modems and PS/2 mice with all systems. The packaging of the products has also changed, and they come with a leaflet about getting started designed to avoid customer confusion.
General manager Colin Silcock said: ?Time is constantly looking for ways to improve its service and support. The user guide and video have been very successful with our customers. It is due to their comments and observations that we have made these changes.
?It is our intention to make the purchase and use of a PC from Time Computers as enjoyable and trouble free as possible for customers.?
