CS&T trimming sparks staff exodus
Four more senior staff have left Corporate Software & Technology (CS&T), less than a month after the reseller lost its UK marketing director, Clarissa Roberts.
The resignations have come from the finance and consulting services divisions.
UK financial director Adrian Leatham and credit controller Keith Jewitt have resigned.
At least two senior staff are also understood to have given notice from the consulting services department. Kam Rehal has joined corporate reseller Fraser Associates, and Jalal Hadji has resigned and will join Softech Consultancy.
Mark Lindsey, CS&T's services director, played down the resignations.
'Like any organisation, we have a turnover of staff. This is not inconsistent with staff turnover at similar organisations and it is not our policy to discuss individual staff members.'
But sources claimed that the resignations from the finance department were part of a wider downsizing exercise, with a view to a sell-off. One ex-employee said: 'A number of extra finance staff were taken on when CS&T took on some extra European staff last year. These are being stripped down with a view to making the company more efficient.'
CS&T rebranded and restructured in May when joint parent RR Donnelly announced it would reduce its 80 per cent stake. It is widely rumoured to be looking for a buyer.
