Nevis launches first partner programme

Vendor unveils two-tier Nevis Networks Global Partner programme for UK channel

LAN security vendor Nevis Networks has launched its first official partner programme in the UK.

The vendor, which specialises in network access control appliances with its flagship LANenforcer security range, officially burst onto the UK scene last year.

The Nevis Networks Global Partner programme is divided into two tiers – Certified Partner and Premier Partner.

Matthew Nunney, managing director EMEA at Nevis Networks, said the firm is looking to get up to four partners on board by the end of the year.

“The aim of the partner programme is to get us scale in the market and for our partners to integrate our products with other products – particularly in the fields of remediation technologies and Active Directory skills.

“We are at the point where our products are getting wider accessibility,” he said. “We have been shipping it for a year now and it’s a natural point for a manufacturer to be pushing the product to a broader market. We need partners to be able to do this.”

Nick Sonigra, sales director at Nevis Premier partner Metropolitan Networks, said: “The market that Nevis operates in is a growing market, and unlike some vendors it is very clear in its messaging and the direction it wants to move in.

“The technology does exactly what it says on the tin and as a vendor partner it has been very forthcoming with helping us get up to speed on its technology and supporting us on advertising campaigns.”
