Stream puts top team back in shape
Software reseller Stream International has started to piece together a replacement management team following recent redundancies and the voluntary exodus of several senior staff.
David Miller, who led the consolidation of Stream?s European print facilities last year as sales director of outsource manufacturing for Northern Europe, has moved over to become UK managing director and senior VP for Stream?s reseller arm.
Miller said: ?There is a question over the future ownership of the company to which we don?t know the answer, so that is hanging over us. But business came through strongly in December and we have got the focus back on our major customers.?
He said that the sales team would steer clear of competing for Select contracts where the margin was as low as 0.5 per cent in order to maintain profitability and would look at building sales with medium-sized businesses.
Carl Baiden, UK operations manager, has taken over Miller?s old role.
Karen Davis has been promoted to the post of sales and marketing director for Northern Europe.
