Teleadapt in indirect push
Mobile connectivity company Teleadapt has begun selling indirect in a bid to increase its sales and awareness of its brand.
Gordon Brown, founder and MD of Teleadapt, said the company has begun selling to specific resellers and retailers. 'We still supply OEMs and offer direct sales through our mail order service, but the aim is to ensure all companies are aware of our solution.'
Teleadapt sells adaptors that allow notebook users to remotely access networks from countries with different telephone sockets. 'We don't need distributors as we provide third-party support,' Brown said.
Brown has hired former Frontline Distribution man and Apex Data MD David Floyd as reseller sales and marketing manager to handle Teleadapt's indirect channel.
The UK company, based in Colindale, London, had a turnover of u3.5 million in 1995.
