Avisen shuffles management pack

Former Matrix director Michael Frank drafted onto board while Robert Arrowsmith and Louis Peacock head for exit doors

Board reshuffle: Avisen has tweaked its executive line up in the wake of its Xploite acquisition

Buy-and-build IBM reseller Avisen has shuffled its management pack after completing a £11.38m acquisition of rival Xploite.

Robert Arrowsmith, who was financial director at Xploite before taking on the chief financial officer role at a group level, and Avisen director Louis Peacock have both stepped down with immediate effect.

At the same time, Michael Frank, who was a non-executive director at Xploite in its Matrix Communications days (2003 to 2006), has been drafted onto the board as a non-executive director.

Filling Arrowsmith’s shoes on an interim basis will be Claire Milverton. She joined Xploite as group financial controller in March 2008.

Avisen chief executive Marcus Hanke said: “When Xploite was acquired by Avisen it was envisaged that we would need to re-structure the enlarged board.

“I would like to thank both Louis and Robert for their commitment over the years to Avisen and Xploite respectively and wish them both well for the future.”
