Logicalis makes two new appointments

Integrator giant adds to senior management team as it progresses towards goal of becoming a $1bn revenue organisation

Integrator Logicalis Group has appointed Eamonn Kearns as senior vice president of solutions and services and Simon Howard-Johnson as vice president of service sales for its services organisation, Intact Integrated Services (IIS).

Kearns joins Logicalis from BT Global Services where he was BT general manager responsible for Unilever - a 10 year, £1bn global outsource project.

Howard-Johnson joins IIS from the Dutch IT services company, Getronics, where he was global client director for BT.

Ian Cook, chief executive of Logicalis' European operations, said: "We have just delivered another half year of record-breaking results and the Logicalis Group is now heading towards becoming a $1 billion revenue organisation. We already employ over 1000 people, but being able to attract employees of Howard-Johnson and Kearn's calibre and experience will ensure that we deliver on our ambition.

Cook added: "In particular, Howard-Johnson and Kearns will be key figures in articulating the services that make up our end-to end value proposition - helping organisations migrate toward practices that will improve their agility, continuity and corporate and social responsibility. To do this at board level requires the experience to really understand our customers' business drivers, and define and develop solutions to help them implement innovative, more flexible ways of working. This will allow our customers to exploit new business opportunities, increase revenues and cut both costs and time from business processes."
